FRANCE, TM. On Sundays in July (but not August), September, and October, the newly formed Mazirat radio club (Department 03, Allier)—F4KOK—is operating as TM3CF. This callsign refers to the geographic center of metropolitan France (including Corsica and coastal islands). The club uses the poetic name "GRAAL" (like the Quest of the same name), standing for *Groupe Radio Amateur Allier Libre* (Free Allier Amateur Radio Group). The event schedule may be subject to disruption due to weather conditions, a lack of available operators, or various minor technical issues. QSL via the bureau. transatlantic flight undertaken on July 15, 1933, by Lithuanian pilots Steponas Darius and
Stasys Girėnas, who attempted to fly from New York to Kaunas in the aircraft "Lituanica."
Their flight ended tragically in a forest near Pszczelnik, Poland, 650 km from their final

POLAND, SP. Until the end of July, HF82AK is active in memory of the "Home Army and Peasant Battalions" soldiers who fell during the German operation "Sturmwind II," conducted against resistance fighters from June 18 to 27, 1944.
POLAND, SP. Until the end of July (or the end of the year?), members of the SP5YPL radio club are using the callsign HF170TESLA to mark the 170th anniversary of Nikola Tesla's birth (July 10, 1856).
ITALY, I. Until the end of July, the Colli Albani section of the ARI is using the callsign II0NRG to commemorate the centenary of the Italian airship "Amundsen-Ellsworth-Nobile," which completed the first flight to the North Pole—linking Europe and America—between May 11 and 14, 1926. SWITZERLAND, HB. Until the end of July, the special callsign HB200LF is being used to mark the bicentenary of the birth of Louis Favre, a Swiss engineer and builder. In 1872, he built the first Gotthard railway tunnel, which was the longest in the world at the time. QSL via LoTW and ClubLog.

CANADA, VE. Until the end of July, the Lhtako Dene radio club is using the callsign VC7BBD to mark the 50th annual "Billy Barker Days" festival in Quesnel, British Columbia.
SOUTH ORKNEY ISLANDS, VP8, LU_Z. Ramon Alberto is operating as LU1DMZ/Z
from station LU1ZA at the "Orcadas" base on Laurie Island (IOTA AN-008). Established in 1904,
it is the oldest Antarctic base. The first Argentine crew, including José
Moneta, arrived in 1927, and the first official radiotelegraph station in Antarctica was inaugurated.
Since 1951, the Orcadas observatory has been under the authority of the Argentine Navy.
MALAWI, 7Q. In 2026—and possibly through 2027—Chris ZS6RI is operating as 7Q5C from Karonga,

UNITED STATES, K. On Saturday, August 8, from 13:00 to 20:00 UTC, for "National Lighthouse
Weekend," the Old Barney Radio Club will operate as W2T (SSB and FT8 on the 20m and 40m bands)
from the Tucker’s Island Lighthouse (no IOTA ref., but USA911 ref.) and the Tuckerton Seaport
Museum in Tuckerton, New Jersey. QSL via N2OO.
FRANCE, F / JERSEY, GJ. Until August 9, Holger is traveling through northern France in a
motorhome and operating with the callsign F/DG3FEH. During this period, from July 18 to 23, he will
make a trip to Jersey, where he will operate as MJ/DG3FEH.
REF "Tour de France" Amateur Radio Challenge. Running until August 9, this challenge—
organized by the REF in partnership with local associations and radio clubs—takes place
during the men's (July 4–26) and women's (August 1–9) Tour de France races. Special callsigns
TMxxTFR (where xx is the number of the department hosting a stage start or finish, or located
along the race route) will be active for one week. The callsign TM00TFR can be used as a
wildcard (once only) for a missing department.
CORSICA, TK. From August 9 to 26, Alexander (TK/OE5AUH) and David (TK/OE5DDJ)
will be hiking the GR20 long-distance trail.
CANADA, VE. Until August 14, the CG2C team will be active from Cap-aux-Meules,

experience with extreme cold conditions. We are not necessarily looking for
operators capable of racking up contacts at a breakneck pace. The key is to demonstrate
team spirit, outdoor living skills, flexibility, and practicality; one must understand what
an outdoor stay in winter entails and possess the determination and drive
needed to ensure the expedition's success."
