Omsk, in memory of Yuri Tvarkovsky (born December 25, 1921, died December 7, 1943),
the youngest commander and Hero of the Soviet Union during World War II.
Individual stations may have the prefix RP81 with various suffixes. QSL via R9MK.
BELARUS, EW. From May 1st to 10th, EV81M from Minsk, for the 81st
anniversary of the end of World War II. QSL via EW1W.
NEW CALEDONIA, FK. From early May to early August, our friend Hervé from Pas-de-Calais is FK/F4MER and operates in his free time (IC-718, multiband antenna).

Hervé obtained his license during a trip to New Caledonia in late 2024/early 2025.

and his XYl Noëlle F4HTL, Jean-Louis F4JHT are TM8DW from 00:00 to 21:00 from Wimereux
to commemorate the first radiotelegraph transmission of March 27, 1899, by Marconi
between Wimereux (Pas-de-Calais) and the South Foreland lighthouse in Dover (England). On the English side,

endroits du pays, pour le 70ème anniversaire de la présence japonaise en Antarctique. Le 8
novembre 1956, le « Syowa », premier navire japonais à explorer l'Antarctique, quittait Tokyo
avec 53 membres d'équipage, dont 17 débarquèrent sur les îles Ongul le 29 janvier 1957 pour
établir la première station de recherche, qui fut baptisée « Syowa ». QSL via JG2MLI.

will be TM45ILE. Philippe explains: “We will depart from the port of Arzal-Camoël (department 56, Morbihan) to sail towards Belle-Île-en-Mer, Île Hoëdic, Île d’Houat and Île de Groix.

SOUTH ORKney Islands, VP8, LU_Z. Ramon Alberto is LU1DMZ/Z
until the end of 2026 at station LU1ZA of the Orcadas Antarctic Base, on Laurie Island, IOTA
AN-008. The base, established in 1904, is the oldest Antarctic base. In 1927, the
first Argentine crew arrived with José Moneta, and the first official radiotelegraph station
in Antarctica was inaugurated. Since 1951, the Orcadas Observatory has been under the authority of the
Argentine Navy and constitutes the “South Orkney Naval Detachment.”

UKRAINE, UR. Call EO80F for the 80th anniversary of the Children's and Youth Palace in Izmail.
GREENLAND, OX. Loren KK5LM is OX5LM from Pituffik Space Base.

UKRAINE, UR. For his 50th anniversary as a licensed radio operator, Nick US8AR is EM50AR. Furthermore, the two special call signs EM100W and EN100WLKK celebrate the centenary of the Lviv Radio Club, founded in 1926 as Lwowski Klub Krotkofalowcow (LKK). It was one of the most important radio clubs in Europe before World War II.
BULGARIA, LZ. The LZ1KCP radio club in Blagovestnik will activate the following special call signs: LZ488AM (April), LZ370TL (May-June), LZ67PP (July-August), LZ936BA (September-October), and LZ911TD (November-December) to celebrate Orthodox saints.
MALAWI, 7Q. In 2026, and possibly into 2027, Chris ZS6RI is 7Q5C from Karonga,

NEW ZEALAND, ZL. The National Amateur Radio Association (NZART) and the

SPRATLY, 9M0. During the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2026, Marhazli 9M8HAZ and members of the previous 9M8A expedition to Satang Island are planning another expedition to the Spratly Islands. The callsign is not yet given.
GRENADA, J3. From September 1 to 12, GM5RDX will be J38DX and M6IJU will be J38LD.
SEYCHELLES, S7. From September 11th to 21st, Kasimir will be S79/DL2SBY north of Mahé Island, Inner Islands group, IOTA AF-024, 100m from the shore.
FRANZ JOSEPH LAND, RI1FJA-RI1FJZ. In September, for 15 days, R7AL, RW8A, RW9JZ, UA3QLC, R2DVE, and RA4DX will be RI1FJL from Heiss Island, IOTA EU-019.
