Thanks to the OMs, YLs, SWLs, and radio clubs who promote the newsletter;

"Compil DX" has developed exchanges and partnerships with international associations and radio clubs in France, Europe, and elsewhere, for distribution and publication in other magazines

such as DARC, REF-29, ON5VL RC of Liège (https://on5vl.org/), URC (www.news.urc.asso.fr), etc.

For various reasons, some announced expeditions or activities may sometimes be shortened,

extended, postponed, or even canceled. I try to inform you as quickly as possible.

This newsletter does not include activities on the 6m (50 MHz), VHF, UHF, and higher bands; this is a deliberate choice, not a

value judgment. I leave it to others to tackle the task of a bulletin specifically for all these bands.

Since the DX Compilation is updated several times a day, taking into account received modifications, additions concerning calls or dates that were pending, and announcements are classified chronologically and by country,

the information would be incomplete if one only read the first few pages of the bulletin. For the best use of the bulletin, it is therefore advisable to read it in its entirety each week.

FRANCE, TM. From December 17 to 31, Dominique F4JMX will be TM63SC (dept. 63, Puy-de-Dôme) in memory of Jean-Pierre F8DZU, who passed away in early November. QSL via Matias F4MUO, 10 years old, who recently passed his exam with a score of 15 on the technical section.

Matias is Dominique's grandson.

CANADA, VE. Until December 18, Mike VE2XB (also known as VY0BRR) is VY0ZOO

from Coral Harbour, a small Inuit community on Southampton Island, IOTA NA-007, in the

Kivalliq region of Nunavut (one of Canada's three federal territories), north of Hudson Bay.

Coral Harbour is the only community in Nunavut that does not observe Daylight Saving Time,

being in the Eastern Time Zone year-round. Then Mike will travel to

Cambridge Bay, Victoria Island, IOTA NA-006. There are only two active VY0 stations in all of

Nunavut: Mike VY0CF in Rankin Inlet, and himself, Mike VY0BRR (or VY0ZOO). Visit the website:

ITALY, I. Until December 29, the Gorizia section of ARI (IQ3GO) is II3GONG (the suffix GONG stands for Gorizia in Italy and Nova Gorica in Slovenia). Youngsters On The Air “YOTA” Contest 2025. It will be organized on December 29th by the

IARU Youth Working Group Region 1.

MARIANA ISLANDS, KH0. From December 29th to January 3rd, 2026, Ken will be KH0/AJ6VJ from

MONACO, 3A. From December 30th to January 3rd, 2026, MM0NDX and MM0SAJ will be

will participate for the first time in the ARRL DX contest in early 2026.

...results of Frank F-14368's listening contest...

Our friend and subscriber, Frank, SWL F-14368 (also F0DUW), has been the dedicated organizer of an SSB listening contest for several years. He has just published the results of the 2025 edition. The contest runs for eight months, from March 1st to October 31st. It is open to SWLs and amateur radio operators, and the goal is to contact as many of the 340 entities listed in the DXCC as possible. This year, three amateur radio operators (from India and Wales) and 14 SWLs (from Italy, Nepal, France, the Netherlands, Crete, Greece, Japan, Mexico, Canada, Israel, Portugal, Austria, and Germany) participated. The best report from a radio amateur (OM) showed 171 entities received, and the best report from a listener showed 207. Propagation was excellent thanks to the peak of the solar cycle.
